Giant/Liv Break-in Period Check

A complimentary break-in check for all new bikes purchased specifically from Giant Canning Vale if redeemed within 3 months. This check-up can usually can be done while you wait if it's not too busy at the time, please allow 15-30 minutes. If more work than normal is required, we may need to keep your bike overnight.

• Check/adjust gears & brakes
• Check handlebar/stem/headset
• Check BB/crankset bolts and pedals
• Check wheels are secure
• Check spoke tension
• Inspect/inflate tyres
• Test ride (excludes kids bikes)

• Booking is essential and your bike is required for at least 24 hours
• Frame inspection & wipe down
• Check/adjust gears
• Check wheels are secure/safe
• Check/adjust handlebar/stem/headset
• Check drivetrain condition
• Check/adjust brakes
• Tyre sealant check if applicable
• Inspect/inflate tyres
• Parts are extra (we will text for approval)
• Test ride (excludes kids bikes)

• Booking is essential and your bike is required for at least 48 hours
• Frame inspection & wipe down
• Check drivetrain condition, wipe down chain and pulleys
• Check/adjust gears and update firmware if applicable
• Check/adjust handlebar/stem/headset
• Check/adjust brakes, inspect pads
• Wheel true/tension to wheels with external spoke adjustment
• Check wheels are secure/safe
• Remove crankset inspect/clean and overhaul bottom bracket (excluding E-Bikes)
• Check/adjust hubs (plus freehub body service to Giant SLR and Cadex hubs)
• Perform firmware updates to E-Bikes including battery, run diagnostics
• Check bolts on all components
• Tyre sealant check if applicable
• Inspect/inflate tyres
• Parts are extra (we will text for approval)
• Test ride (excludes kids bikes)

Important Booking Information

• Bookings are essential for all bikes due to limited storage space and can not be accepted without a booking
• Bikes can only be dropped off within 5 days of the booking date
• Collection required within 5 days of completion
• Service duration is usually 24-72 hours from booking date (you will receive a text when ready to collect)
• Storage fees will incur at $1 per day if not collected after 14 days of completion
• We pride ourselves in quality not quantity which may reflect in our service booking lead times being longer than other stores

Warranty on Service or Repairs

• Labour - we do not offer refunds or offer warranty on our labour or service charges as all bikes are professionally tested before handover
• Parts - most new parts we fit during a service or repair will have a manufacturing defect warranty for a specific period of time to ensure piece of mind. This part warranty excludes wear and tear or brake contamination from normal use. If you believe there is a fault with a specific part, please contact us to make a claim. If a part is found to be faulty within the product warranty period, our team will replace it for you at no charge.

• Carbon seatpost/clamp overhaul = $27
• Degrease chain/cassette = $54
• Silca Strip and Wax a new chain = $55 + chain
• Bleed Brakes = $54 per end, plus brake fluid
• Headset overhaul/bearings replacement = time-based + parts
• Wheel True/Tension/Spoke replacement = time-based + parts
• Tubeless Re-taping = time-based + parts

Our workshop rate is $108 per hour, billed as follows:

• 1 hour = $108
• 30 minutes = $54
• 20 minutes = $36
• 15 minutes = $27
• 10 minutes = $18

• All tubeless requirements for wheel brands we sell only
• Accessory fitting (for approved products only)

• Repairs of services to illegally modified bicycles
• In-house wheel building
• Suspension servicing (ask us for referrals)
