Giant Canning Vale Bike Fitting

Bike Fitting
At Giant Canning Vale, our staff are experienced in bike fitting across all types of cycling disciplines such as triathlon and time trials, road racing, track, MTB, commuting and recreational riding too. This enables us to help you select the right bike in the perfect size to then make adjustments to make you more comfortable to enhance your cycling experience.

On all new bikes sold, we adjust the saddle height to ensure your off to a great start. We can also discuss custom fit upgrades to improve your comfort at collection or after a few rides.

Road Bikes Fits
All customers who purchase a drop bar style road bike from Giant Canning Vale will receive a basic bike fit. We check your saddle height, fore/aft position and look at your reach and front end height too. If your stem needs to be longer or shorter we will swap this out at no extra cost at colllection, or within 30 days providing the original stem is unmarked.

Going the extra mile for Roadies
Sometimes we also need to cut down fork steerers and hydraulic brake lines and re-bleed brakes to really dial you in on road bikes. If you already have a bike fit we can work on this to have your bike ready to go at collection, otherwise we can book the job for when you are sure about the front end height. This is done for free, one time only, within 60 days of the purchase date. This is extra work is something that not all shops will do for free as it can take up to a 3 hours in extra labour cost to the business, but we appreciate your business and want to help make you feel at one with your new road bike!

Professional Bike Fits
We don't pretend to be something we're not either. Although we are very experienced in bike fitting and can get you off to a great start, we don't offer fits as a service because we believe you should be a physio or someone who has studied and can look at your bio mechanics on the bike in a more professional manner. The trick with good physio's is finding one that is a great bike fitter. Here's a few we think are Perth's finest and would use personally:

Leon Vogels, WA SportsMed Physiotherapy in Perth
Paul Merkes, Exercise Institute in Subiaco
